Do not say, "We have no entrance to the Presence"

Love of the dead does not last,
because the dead will not return.
But love of the Living
is in every moment fresher than a bud,
both to the inward and outward eye.

Choose the love of the Living One (al-Hayy)
Who is Everlasting (as-Samad), Who offers you
the wine that increase life.

Do not say, "We have no entrance to the Presence"
Hide inside the One Who is
Ever Present (Immanent, Maojud).
Dealings with the Generous (al-Karim) are not difficult.

Wa tawakkal 'ala-l-Hayyi-llaji laa yamutu wa sabbih bi hamdih - wa kafa biHi bi zunubi ibadihi khabira.

And put your trust in the Livine One who does not die, and extol His praise. And He suffices as the Knower of the shortcomings of His devotees. - The Quran 25:58

Wa 'inna laHu 'indana lazulfa, wa husna ma'ab.

And surely he (David) had access to the Divine Presence
and a beautiful end to his journey! - The Quran 38:25
