At the headside of my bed in the piles of books there are many books equally near! so after scanning through i picked up a beautiful English translation of Quran which is done with a Phrase-by-Phrase translation approach. Its translated by 'Ali Quli Qara'i and was presented to me by a dear heart sister in Islam, Maryam - sent all the way from Iran. Particularly i like this translation because reading parallel its really helpful to understand the arabic and its english equivalence.
Opening a random page from Quran and getting Divine hints from the particular verse is practiced in many parts of Muslim world. In Islamic term it is called Istikhara (meaning guidance). So it was kind of interesting to follow this book meme to look for where it lands upon. It turns out that pg. 123 takes me to 4th Chapter of the Quran, Surat Al-Nisa (The Women). Here are the quoted lines: Bismi'Llah,

The short definition of Meme is "a unit of cultural information, such as a cultural practice or idea, that is transmitted verbally or by repeated action from one mind to another." In science, a Meme (pronounced to rhyme with “theme”) is a self-propagating unit of thought that is spread from one host to another. Richard Dawkins invented the term as a kind of idea-gene. Like genes, as Memes spread they mutate or die. Only the fittest Memes survive.
However, that definition is incomplete as it relates to an Internet meme which "occurs when something relatively unknown becomes increasingly popular, often quite suddenly, through the mass propagation of media content made feasible by the Internet" technology. (credit)
How to start your own Blog Meme Just think of something interesting. What would you most like to know about your fellow bloggers? What would readers find interesting or amusing? (credit) Then publish it and pass it forward.
