ours is not a caravan of despair.
come, come, whoever you are
this caravan has no despair.
even though you have broken your vow
perhaps ten thousand times
yet come again, come again,
whoever you are, come!
wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving, come!

December 17 is the night of Union | On December 17, 1273, Rumi was called home by his Beloved God and laid to rest beside his father in Yesil Turbe or, “the green Tomb.” A calligraphy near his tomb reads: “After my death, don’t seek my tomb in the earth, for I rest in the hearts of the men of mystical knowledge.” May God bless His lover, the noble soul of Mevlana Rumi and sanctify his secrets.
