God is One. Hence True Religion can only be One
Religion in the ordinary sense of the word, as known by the world, is the creeds. There are not many religions in the world, but there are many creeds. And what does creed mean? Creed means a cover over the religion.
There is one religion and there are many covers. Each of these covers has a name: Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Mohammedanism, etc., and when you take off these covers, you will find that there is one religion.

Acknowledgement of God's Sovereignty and Submission to God - is that One Religion
God, Allah, Ishwar, the Divine Lord is one. The Divine has no partner, His creatures are innumerable. But He Himself is lone. He needs none. But all creatures need Him every moment. Nothing can exist a moment without His Will. Like Him, there is no dual or plurality in the Divine "Sunnah", which is called "Deen"or 'Al-Deen"
إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْإِسْلَٰمُ
"The only Religion to God is Submission to His Will". (3:19) Islam means and stands for total submission to the Will and the Nature of God / Allah. All the prophets of God submitted to Almighty God and called their people to submit to the One and only God. The only true religion as far as God is concerned (after discarding the labels) is Submission to God (Islam). It can also be said that all the labels we know today like Judaism and Christianity and Mohammedanism, with all their sub-divisions (like Shia, Sunni) are man made. They are not religions approved by God. God does not call them religions, but creeds:
"Neither the Jews nor the Christians will approve of you unless you follow their 'millat' (creed)." 2:120
The religion given to Moses, Jesus and all the other Prophets was not Judaism nor Christianity but Islam (submission to God). When Jesus Christ preached the love and submission to God, he never claimed that he is initiating a new religion which is called Christianity. In actual fact Jesus proclaimed that he has not come to change the law (of the Torah) but to confirm it (Mathew 5:17-18). The term 'Christianity', as a separate religion independent of Judaism, was not used except long after Jesus was dead.
In this light, Islam is not the religion of the Quran alone, nor is the religion brought by the prophet Muhammad. It is written in the Quran that Islam (Submission to God), is as old as Abraham (Quran 22:78), and that all the practises of Islam were first given to Abraham and his sons long before Muhammad was born.
"He has legislated for you of the religion what He has instructed for Noah and what We inspired to you and what we instructed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: "You shall establish the religion and be not divided therein." 42:13
"Abraham was neither a Jew, nor a Christian; but he was a monotheist Muslim (submitter). He was not one of the Mushrikeen (those who set up partners with God)." 3:67
"The only religion approved by God is Islam (Submission)." 3:19
The above Quranic verses confirm the truth that as far as God is concerned there has always been one religion. The one religion was decreed to Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad.
All the Scripture revealed to mankind from God advocate one and the same religion. Submission to God alone is a religion based on Monotheism (Hanifeyah), see Quran 3:67, 6:79, 10:105, 98:5.
The principal command from God in all Scripture is to worship God alone devoting all the religion to Him and rejecting all other gods/idols:
Old Testament:
"You shall have no other gods besides Me" (Exodus 20:3)
New Testament:
"You shall worship the Lord your God. and Him only you shall serve" (Luke 4:8)
The Quran:
"You shall know that: "There is no other gods beside One God" (Quran 47:19)
Submission to God is the religion whereby we recognise God's absolute authority, and reach an unshakable conviction that God alone possesses all power; no other entity possesses any power that is independent of Him. The natural result of such a realisation is to devote our lives and our worship absolutely to God alone:
"Say, 'My Salat, my worship practices, my life and my death, are all devoted to God, the Lord of the worlds. He has no partner. This is what I was commanded with, and I am the first to submit.' " Quran 6:162-163

All Prophets Communicated that One Ideal
From Adam to Muhammad, all the Messengers of God, peace be upon all of them, were sent only on His Lone Religion of submission, Islam, as there is no plurality in the Faith and the Religion of Allah / God.
There is plurality in the physical persons and the numbers of the Messengers. But there is no plurality in the Message itself, they were sent for. All were sent with the Lone Message "There is no god, but God".
لاَ إلهَ إلاَّ الله
Allah Himself Witnesses, "There is no god save Him" شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ
Angels and the people of just knowledge, also witness وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمِ قَآئِمًۢا بِٱلْقِسْطِ
"There is no god save Him, the Almighty, the Wise,"
لاَ إلهَ إلاَّ وَ الْعَزِيْتْزُ الْحَمِيْ
This was the witness and message of all the Messengers from the Divine, nothing more and nothing less. Only the blind people fail in witnessing the Oneness of God.

Most Dangerous Misinterpretation of the Qur'an
Now lets examine an example of how through misinterpretation the seed of division and hatred is sowed among mankind by the adversary devil. Lets look at a verse from the Final Testament / Quran which is critical in understanding.
هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِ
Allah has repeated this verse in three places in the Quran, in the chapter, Tawba (The Repentance), Fat'h (The Victory) and Saff (the Row).
This verse of the Quran unambiguously tells that there is only one "Deen" or the Religion, and that is Submission to Divine Authority, Sovereignty and Will. Allah has started revealing His Deen, chapter by chapter, by sending His first Messenger Adam (AS), and continued the chain till He sent His last messenger, Muhammad, (SAWS) to project him on the entire or the "Total" of His only Deen.
And not at all, He sent Muhammad with a different deen, to prevail Muhammad (SAWS) over other Deens," to project Muhammad on a new "Deen", to raise "Muhammadan Ummah" to create another community to fight against Jews and Christians as only another religion!
In almost all places you will come across this translation: "It is He who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, in order to make it prevail over all religions, even though the idolaters dislike it." Which is WRONG! There is no one religion over "many religions" in this translation because to God religion is only God's religion or sovereignty.
May Allah forbids, if that was the purpose of Muhammad's Message, then the verse, must have been as.
NOT AS
because the word "Deen" is singular here, not plural, "Adyan," Deens / Religions! Also this kind of translation is not compatible with the System Meaning of the Qur'an. No where does the word Deen is used in its Plural form in the Quran. So projecting that kind of meaning is not compatible.
Then one may ask, what is the correct translation / interpreatation of the above Quranic verse:
Here is an imperfect effort towards translating the above verse:
He is the One Who has sent His Messenger
with the guidance and the True Deen
to manifest it over the "Totality" of His only Deen.
To translate it as: "...in order to make it prevail over all religions..." is problematic because Deen and only Deen with God is Submission (إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْإِسْلَٰمُ)
Then one may ask, what is the correct translation / interpreatation of the above Quranic verse:
Here is an imperfect effort towards translating the above verse:

To translate it as: "...in order to make it prevail over all religions..." is problematic because Deen and only Deen with God is Submission (إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْإِسْلَٰمُ)
To term it as plural religion where its only the Religion: this is either an unintended mistake, or the prompt inspiration of Satan who initiated it in an unmindful moment of the earliest translator, and the later commentators simply followed that mistake, that has to be revealed!
This dangerous misinterpretation has paved the way to make Islam, the religion of the Qureish tribe first, then the religion of Arabs, and finally the religion of Muslims, who are the followers of a separate faith and religion, like Jews and Christians. That made not only the Jews and the Christians say that there is plurality in the divine faith, but the so-called Muslim exponents of Islam also echo with others, that there is plurality in the Divinity and the Divine Faith, or the Religion of Allah!
This is nothing short and less than saying, "There are partners of Allah, who have different religions, and they have their different people of faiths," so there is plurality in Universal faith!
لَوْ أَ إَ فِيْهِمَ آلَهَةً إلاَّ اا لَفَ أَ ، فَ بْحَ إَ ااِ رَ كِّ ب الْعَ شِ مَّ يَ فُوْإ.
This unpardonable schism in Islam has its origin from the volleys of lies uttered by the Arabs, especially Makkan Qureishies just after the death of the last Messenger of Allah. Real Islam makes its believers none, but brothers who say in all circumstances, “We” only, and can never say “We” and “You” among themselves. Whenever they would say “We” and “You” or "Us" vs. "Them", they simply cease to be within the bound and the bonds of Islam.
Those who said (if they said at all) “Arabs shall not accept any religion except under the leadership of Quriesh” and “The leaders must be from the Qureish” have uttered the words of “Kufr” and schism after Islam.
When the Makkan leaders of the Qureish said to their Madinite Ansar counterparts “Leaders are from amongst us and the advisers are from amongst you”, they subjected them to be eliminated by the wrath of Allah Almighty. نَحْنُ الأُ اءُ، وأنْتْتُ الْوُزَرَا، الأَ اء و مُ الْوُزَرَاء.
The utterness (Arabs shall not accept any religion, except under the leadership of Quriesh) and (Leader must be from the Quriesh) were the prompt inspiration of Satan against all the teachings of the Quran and the practice of the last Messenger (SAWS).
That was the reason they were completely reversed from the blessings of Islam to the curse of infidelity of Umyyad and Abbaside imperialism within the thirty years of the death of the Prophet (SAWS) under the set-law of Allah,
والْذِيْنَ أَذَّبتْوُْا بِآَيَ أِ سَ تَ رِ هُ نْ حَيْثُ لاَ يَتْعْلَمُوْإ. وأُ لي لَهُ إإَّ أَيْ يْ تِيْن.
(Those who repel, Our Signs, We wipe them out step by step that they do not feel even. I only give them respite. My system is unfailing strong) Aaraf-182-183.
So, the Arabs of worst kind of renegacy, hypocrisy and most fitted to be ignorant of limits of Allah and His Messenger, who were blessed with the best cure هدى وشفاء were again reduced to their even worst, within only the span of thirty years. Furthermore, they concoctedly fabricated traditions in the name of the Prophet (SAWS) saying "The Prophet said that the Caliphat will continue for thirty years after his death, and then there will be empire after that."
What a blatant lie..? That too in the name of the Prophet (SAWS)!
Whereas the Prophet (SAWS) did not appoint any body as his Caliph, or successor. He can't. He wasn't been empowered, as it is only Allah Who makes,
إِنِّى جَاعِلٌ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً
جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًا
I am the Maker of Caliphat on the earth, and I am to make you the Imam for mankind!
So, the Arabs are reduced to their size by Allah step by step, that they are now 100% in captivity of Judeo-Christian vicious circle (This is exactly what we are witnessing in the destruction of Arabs in hoards). They are to be resurrected (only if) and recycled only by a non-Arab and non-racial universal leadership of the kind of Muhammad (SAWS) who was "Rahmatul lil-Alameen."
وَا نأرْسَلْ اَ إلاَّ رَحْمَةُ لِلْعَ لَمِيْن.
“We sent not you, but the Mercy and the Blessing for the Worlds.” Neither for Qureish, nor the narrow Arabian schism.

Why its one of the most important verse
Dividing God into my god vs your god is the root cause of division. Claiming one religion to be superior only happens when mankind forget that Religion is One. This claim of superiority has caused division and also to claim one Prophet to prevail over other religion and other Prophet is a clear deviation from the fact that all Prophets are God sent to communicate the Religion of God. Religion can not be of Christ or Moses or Abraham or Muhammad. Religion is of God.
So to interpret the verse as one religion to prevail over other religion is a seed to inject the false idea that God will make one religion to prevail over other religion. This is a lie against God which is the greatest injustice. Has not the time come to humanity to recognize that God is One and Religion can only be One, not many? Truth is one, only falses are many.
