PROVIDENTIAL CARE
All of the above names point to a reality which says that Divine Being is both Rich and Enricher, it is the same Reality which bestows wealth and resources to the creation, it distribute providence to all creation, it is a reality which is the fulfiller of needs and at the same time the most generous. Such is the Design of the Grand Architect that every creature upon the earth, whether it crawls or fly or walk on feets, all of them are provided by various means in nature. A marvel of ar-Razzaq, the Provider.
The beasts, the birds, the fishes are all provided by the Provider, and yet if we look at the world and at humanity we will find that there are tremendous amount of poverty both among the so called rich and prosperous nations as well as those continents and countries which are labelled as poor such as Africa or Asia. We claim to be prosperous and yet humanity unlike any other time in history now worries more about their finance, economics, monthly income, taxes, savings, retirement plan. This is such a big contrast when it comes to trusting the providential care of the Provider.
In this connection, let us also remember what Christ, one of the greatest Messenger of God on earth said about those human beings (like us) who worry too much about what we shall eat, what we shall wear?
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your livelihood, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the ravens: the neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!" ( Luke 12:22-24)
"Therefore do not worry, saying, ; What will we eat?' or 'What will we wear? For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ( Matthew 6:31-33)
So in one hand the Divine is the Generous Provider who provides for all and on the other hand humanity being the crown of creation deserves to live life free of over worrying about food, clothes and shelter - the basic needs, for aim of Man is to become worthy of the Divine Image, the Reflection of the Endearing One. The earth is provided in abundance all the blessings, rizq, providence and yet it seems someone have tricked humanity so that only a few are robbing the wealth of the most and the mechanism of how wealth is generated seems to be seriously flawed.

Now lets do a reality check.
Nearly 1/2 of the world’s population — more than 3 billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day. More than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty, that's less than $1.25 a day. More accurate state of poverty in the world, using the brand new $2-a-day poverty line, we arrive at some 2.6 billion people living below that line. (credit)
The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that nearly 870 million people of the 7.1 billion people in the world, or one in eight, were suffering from chronic undernourishment in 2010-2012. Almost all the hungry people, 852 million, live in developing countries, representing 15 percent of the population of developing counties. There are 16 million people undernourished in developed countries (FAO 2012).
1 billion children worldwide are living in poverty. According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty.
More than 1 billion people lack adequate access to clean drinking water and an estimated 400 million of these are children. Because unclean water yields illness, roughly 443 million school days are missed every year.
870 million people worldwide do not have enough food to eat.
Preventable diseases like diarrhea and pneumonia take the lives of 2 million children a year who are too poor to afford proper treatment.
1/4 of all humans live without electricity — approximately 1.6 billion people.
80% of the world population lives on less than $10 a day.
In 1998, the UN estimated that it would take $40 billion annually to offer basic education, clean water and sanitation, reproductive health, and basic health and nutrition to every person in every developing country.
The World Food Programme says, “The poor are hungry and their hunger traps them in poverty.” Hunger is the number 1 cause of death in the world, killing more than HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined. (credit)
Then the question is, if the Creator is the Provider, is the Most Generous, then how come the world has so much poverty?
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR POVERTY?
There are two kind of laws in our world. One kind came from the Highest Authority, the Messengers brought those laws from the Most High and there are laws which are made by man. The law that came from above celebrate justice and equality where as the law of man seems to celebrate greed and breed injustice. One of the area where injustice is most pronounced is how the law made by man is the economic injustice.
“In addition to the economic and the biological, there is another aspect of man’s being that enters into [human] relationships with nature, namely the spiritual. When the balance between the spiritual and the material is disturbed, sickness results. Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need but not for every man’s greed. So long as we cooperate with the cycle of life, the soil renews its fertility indefinitely and provides health, recreation, sustenance and peace to those who depend on it. But when the ‘predatory’ attitude prevails, nature’s balance is upset and there is an all-round biological deterioration." - Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi said it the best when he said, "Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need but not for every man's greed." This is now scientifically and statistically proven that the earth has enough to provide for all. The Providential Carer has arranged and designed for all creatures and yet man's greed and his obsession for corrupting nature is the root cause of poverty.
Did you know why Jesus Christ drove away the money changers from the Temple? Because they were trading money with engrave image (prohibited in the Law of Torah) by kosher money for the purpose of charity. Jesus knew perfectly well that tampering with the economy and going against the Divine Law is a work of the Devil and it deserve nothing less than driving them out. It is those same money changers in different dress and name operating to rob humanity of their dignity so that they end up worrying for nothing but what they shall eat and what they shall wear. Poverty leads to kufr (blasphemy and covering up of truth) reminded the Prophet of Islam and thats exactly the Devil's master plan is.
If we narrow it down even more, the replacement of Divine Law with the man made law written by few elites to protect the interest of few and ignoring some of the most fundamental Divine Prohibition is the major cause of poverty on earth. Among those fundamental Divine Prohibition is Usury or Interest.
Also another big culprit is the removing the intrinsic value of money from money itself, and thus rendering the so called FIAT money.
God alone is the creator of wealth, of value. But FIAT money ignore this fundamental reality of wealth and money and replace it with man playing as God and creating wealth out of thin air. FIAT is a latin word which means 'let it be'. Through the circulation of FIAT money, man is playing God by saying let wealth and value be, where there is no intrinsic value inside that paper currency which is not backed by any gold. The consequence of this is extremely damaging for society.
This from the point of view of Divine Law, makes the current FIAT money illegal and absolutely harmful for 99% of humanity at the expense of 1% of the population. The FIAT or paper money and how money is circulated in the so called modern economy for about last 40 years have contributed in filthy way the gulf between rich and poor. The situation has got so worse that the richest 2% have half of world's wealth.

WHAT DOES THE MECHANISM OF USURY or INTEREST DO?
The Divine Law from the God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad says that human suffering is perpetuated by Usury and there is a permanent prohibition against Usury or Interest. Usury is the single most toxic cause for wealth inequality in the world. Human society since it allowed usury coupled with the illegal FIAT money with no intrinsic value is the single cause for extreme poverty and wealth inequality to the sick level that we currently witness.
When an economy is based on Riba (Usury) the rich will keep on growing richer while the masses grow poorer and poorer. You will get poorer and poorer. You will be dredged to destitution, you will be ripped off, you lose your faith. ~ Sheikh Imran Hosein
At the moment 300 filthy rich people on planet earth has the same wealth as the poorest 3 billion people. And thats because of Usury mostly and ripping others off, through illegal economic advantage and wealth accumulation that is totally prohibited by Divine Law. (watch this video)
Usury is a giant suction pump which sucks the wealth of mankind. Thats the explanation of the financial impoverishment. Usury endlessly and continuously transfer wealth to the richest few, increase inflation in the society, the purchasing power of the money in circulation diminish ever and the poor become more poor everyday due to inability to catchup with the inflation and rising cost of everything.
On top of that add greed, exploitation, injustice and the military industrial complex that never cease to manufacture bullets, new weapons, submarine, nuclear warhead, fighter jets, new bombers, drones and so on and so forth. The industrial military complex also means that there are perpetual crisis being manufactured to export these weapons but few sinful countries and their con war dogs.
Aristotle, one of the fathers of Western thought, wrote in his 350 B.C. work, Politics, in Book One, Part X, that usury is the lending of money at interest:
“The most hated sort, and with the greatest reason, is usury, which makes a gain out of money itself, and not from the natural object of it. For money was intended to be used in exchange, but not to increase at interest. And this term interest, which means the birth of money from money, is applied to the breeding of money because the offspring resembles the parent. Wherefore of an modes of getting wealth this is the most unnatural.“
USURY vs. CHARITY - LUST vs. LOVE
Sheikh Imran Hosein, one of the leading Muslim thinker and scholar of present time has been educating tirelessly for few years on international relationship and monetary system. In of his latest discourse Sheikh Imran delivered quite eloquently where he compared Usury and Charity. Here is a highlight from his talk:
If you understand the philosophy then you see the snake.
A riba transaction is one in which your gain is their loss. You take, but you give nothing in return. That's Riba (Usury). You take from Africa, you take from Indonesia, from Pakistan, from Bangladesh, from Egypt, from Morocco, from Algeria. You take and you give nothing in return. Thats Riba.
Charity is masha'Allah, charity is that you give and you take nothing in return.
Its like Love and Lust.
In lust you take and you give nothing in return. You use her and you abuse her and then you discard her. And she doesn't even remain as a memory after that, a fleeting moment of pleasure. Thats lust. You take and give nothing in return.
But Love, Love is different.
Love is different. In Love you give and you give and you give and you take nothing in return.
Riba and Charity is like that. And Allah wants us to be charitable. We give, and we give and when we give we ask for nothing in return.
Thats charity.
So we are infected by the poison of Riba, what will happen? Answer.
What will be the consequence. We allow the economy to be taken over by Riba (Usury). There is a going to be a transfer of wealth, a one way transfer of wealth, their gain will be your loss.
Not only are the rich now are permanently rich, its worse than that,
not only are the poor now are permanently poor, its worse than that,
the rich have now grown filthy rich -
and the poor have now been reduced to miserable destitution.

What can we do as individuals, you may wonder. That wise man Gandhi said something that may offer some insight
“There would be no poverty on Earth if we made a sacred resolution that we would have no more than we need for our creature-comforts. And it would not do for a millionaire to sluggishly say that he owns millions because he needs those for his creature comforts. On the contrary, a man who is poor will continually examine himself and find out what are the superfluous things he keeps for himself, and, if you conduct yourself in a sportsmanlike spirit from day to day, you will be astounded at the fewness of things you require.”
The sacred month of Ramadan is coming in few weeks. Can we think of giving away what we don't need to those who are more in need? Can we give away those extra clothes kept in our closet, those extra dress that we never used for last few months and probably will not use at all. Can we give away our books to a library that is collecting only dust? Can we find out all those that we don't need and lighten our burden and free the world a little bit from hoarding, a sickness which we all suffer from?
May Allah increase our faith, may God give us our daily bread, may Elohim help us know His Commandments and give us capacity to obey them so that the humanity may live free of suffering. Amen, Ameen, by ar-Rahman ar-Rahim so be it.
