Holy month of Ramadhan is called Rabi-ul-Quloob.
Rabi-ul Quloob means the month of spring for the hearts. The way spring comes to the earth, same way the heart also experiences spring. This means heart, not that heart which is in our chests, not the heart behind the ribs of our chest, but instead that heart which is of our soul, that which is the true sensational heart of human being. Even this heart of soul, it passes through different seasons. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

- from the sayings of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him
"When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven are opened."
One of the companion of Prophet, Abu Umamah reported: "I came to the Messenger of God and said: 'Order me to do a deed that will allow me to enter Paradise.' He said: 'Stick to fasting, as there is no equivalent to it.' Then I came to him again and he said: 'Stick to fasting."
On the Day of Judgment, "Fasting will say: O My Lord I prevented him from food and desires so accept my intercession for him."
"Indeed as to the one who fasts, during the blessed moment of breaking the fast, this supplication will not be turned away by God."
