Final Testament, Quran on Jesus Christ (Isa Masih)

Inna Huda-Llahi, huwal Huda!
The Guidance of G-d, that is The Guidance!

1.
By the mystical letters Alif, Laam, Meem!

This is the manifestation, there is no doubt in it- a guidance for the God-conscious (muttaqin)- who believe in the unseen (ghayb), and steadfast in union-prayer (salaat) and spend of that God has provided for them.

And who believe in the renewed revelation as well as the earlier revelations and they have certainty in the Final World (akhira). They are on true guidance from their Lord, and they are the ones who shall be eternally successful.

- Opening verses of the Second Chapter of the Last Testament rendered on the level of Tafsir

2.
Universality of Divine Messengers

To remind the teachings of truth, to remind their often veiled inherent divinity within and to help understand the greater realities - the illuminated human beings, the vessels of divine message have appeared in different cosmic cycles to humanity. Some traditions call them avatar (simply means 'appearance', one who comes down), other call them bodhisattvas (enlightened selves), while others uses the terms messengers and prophets, rasul and nabi. These humans are not separate or mythical figures but part of humanity and to every community that gave birth to great nations and civilizations there have been such enlightened human beings who were born, raised, walked among market places and sat and eat with them - yet their spiritual station was higher due to their special consciousness that they embodied. Each of them were ablazed by the light of truth, so that they could transmit that light (guidance).

And there is a Guide for every people (The Quran 13:8)

There is not a people to whom a warner has not been sent (35:25)

We sent not an apostle except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (realities) clear to them. (14:4)

... For each period is a book (revealed). (13:38)

And, indeed We have sent Messengers before you; of some of them We have related to you their story and of some We have not related to you their story (40:78)

And We never sent before you (O Muhammad) any of the Messengers but verily, they ate food and walked in the markets (they were human). (25:20-21)

And We sent not before you (as Messengers) ANY BUT MEN, whom We inspired from among the people of townships. Have they not traveled through the earth and seen what was the end of those who were before them? And verily, the home of the Hereafter is the best for those who fear God and obey Him. Do you not then understand? (12:109)

In every age such vessels of divine messengership transmitted truth teachings to their community in the most direct yet universal communication. Yet, sadly enough after the teachers' disappearance, every community selfishly and with unhealthy 'religious' zeal created narrow boundaries around the teachings and made their teacher into mythical figures instead of paying attention and living the transmitted teachings. This misplaced focused have given birth to religious exclusivity, tribal mentality, fanaticism and hatred for anyone who was considered as gentiles (who carry otherness). A sure sign of such attitude is the creation of jewel decorated statues of the teacher and endless idols and shrines whereas the teachings and principles of the teacher are discarded, forgotten and hardly lived by. People often forget the reality that "Buddha Never Bowed Before a Statue, and Jesus Never Kneeled Before a Cross" - yet they go on doing exclusively that which was never the point.

Moses brought you the Clear Signs; then, after he left, you adopted the golden calf idol and were wrongdoers. (2:96)

That has  been the case, again and again. Not only the Israelites of the past who became engrossed in creating and decorating an idol as soon as Moses were out of the sight, but its still unfolding among those who claim to be doing religious rites by bowing down to 'that which is a false reality'. If you look at every organized religion, you will find one way or another they are busy worshiping 'a golden calf', even though the shape and reality of the calf sometime may be "money", "power", "political authority" or "authoritarian abuse".

Despite the truth that every teacher proclaimed to be universal and opened his teachings to all without exception (which is the only natural state of any enlightened being) every community with their self-centered collective psychology busied themselves claiming their own teacher exclusively. This has happened to all past religions and traditions, but we are approaching a new dawn to embrace and reclaim the teachers of humanity as ours again.

The over-arching unity of the real enlightened beings is that all of them were khalifatul haqq (agent of truth). The truth is unchanged that every enlightened messengers and prophets are sent by the same Source. Mankind is also specifically commanded by God to make no hierarchical distinctions among His chosen prophets and messengers. They were universal in their embodiment and their teaching and their mission. In the Final Testament this is reminded with no uncertain terms:

Say, "We securely believe in GOD, and in what He has sent down upon us, and what He has sent down upon Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Patriarchs; and in that was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to the Nabi from their Sustainer. We make NO DISTINCTION among any of them. To Him alone we have submitted." (2:136)

The Messenger believes in what was sent down to him from his Lord, and the believers (also). All of them securely believe in GOD, His angels, His scripture, and His messengers: "We make NO DISTINCTION among any of His messengers." They say, "We hear, and we obey. Forgive us, our Lord. To You is the ultimate destiny." (2:285)

Surely those who cover up (the truth) about GOD and His messengers, and want to (find) differences between God and His messengers, and say, "We believe in some and disbelieve in others and want to find a way in between." They are those who really cover up (the truth) and We have prepared for the concealers (of truth) humiliating punishment. (4:150-151)

And those who securely believe in GOD and His messengers, and DO NOT DISCRIMINATE  between any of them, are those whom He shall give their reward. And GOD is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (4:152)

So one of the most fundamental aspect of the great guides to humanity is the fact that no discrimination or distinction are to be made. All of them are sent by God and to deny some of them and to make discrimination among them is like denying the underlying unity of reality.

God did not create the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in vain play. God did not create them except for a true purpose, but most of them do not know. (44: 38-39)

The universality of the divine messengers is one of the most important concept to be internalized before the golden thread between their teachings, from time immemorial to the present and advancing further to the latter days, are to be realized. This understanding expands our consciousness immensely and importantly opens up our receptivity to exalted guidance.

"The Prophets are brothers of the same father with different mothers, and their religion is one."
- Muhammad Mustafa

3.
Universality of Divine Religion

The universal understanding is that Islam was not “founded” by Prophet Muhammad but instead revived by him for the last time with a new Law. In fact he proclaimed the Primordial Religion back out of the moral confusion that had crept everywhere over the ages. Its equally true to other messengers and biblical prophets who never invented a 'new religion' but continued the chain of divine message. All the Messengers preached the same primordial, unchanged values and teachings of truth which flowers in its reclaiming of the peace through divine submission with a tranquil heart which is birth right of every human soul. Just as pure peace is the birth-right of every human soul, so is the divine submission to the Creator is His Right as Lord of the souls, King of the Day of Reckoning.

Even Jesus was no exception when his transmission of this divine peace is epitomized in his beautiful saying, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid." (John 14:27)

Infact that peace when translated in Arabic is salaam which is the root (S-L-M) of the world "Islam" and one who is recipient of this peace through divine submission is called a Muslim (literally means, 'one who submits'). Thus in broader reality, all enlightened beings, illuminated guides of humanity preached 'Islam' and they themselves and their true followers were Muslim when they achieved this state of tranquility of heart and soul called "Islam".

For divine submission the essential pre-requisite is divine gnosis or recognition of that which is Real. This has been the mission of every messenger, to give the gift of gnosis, recognition, remembrance of the Real, Who is called by many Names.

This universal divine religion is called 'Din' in Quranic term which means Divinely Sanctioned Way of Life and its acknowledged to be the same in truth in every age.

To Him belong the keys to the heavens and the earth. He enlarges the provision for whom He chooses or He cuts it. He is the Knower of all things. He has ordained for you the same holy way of life (Din) that was enjoined upon Noah, and that We have revealed to you, and which We had already enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus, (saying), "Establish the Din and do not be divided in it." To those who worship other things than God, hard is the way to which you call them. God chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides to Himself those who return (to Him).

And yet (the followers of earlier revelations) did not become divided until the knowledge (of truth) came to them, out of envy between themselves. (45:12-14)

4.
The Uniqueness of Jesus Christ

Just as every individual human being is unique, every messenger is uniquely placed in a particular age among specific group of people to transmit teachings of truth. But among that uniqueness some are specially unique, gifted with distinct gift by the One Beautiful and Bounteous Giver.

Those Rasul (Messengers) God endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them God spoke directly; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. (2:253)

Among the successive chain of messengers, Jesus stand at a very unique cross road for humanity. While many former messengers preached law and doctrines - Christ did not bring a new revealed law, or reform an earlier law, but introduced a new path or way (tariqah) based on the love of God. For this reason he has been dear heart to the mystics of Islam, the Sufis who see the existence through the lens of divine love. The Sufi philosopher al-Ghazali described Jesus as "the prophet of the soul" and the Sufi master Ibn Arabi called him "the seal of saints".

In the fire of the Divine love, behold!
I saw a whole universe,
Each particle there possessed Jesus’ Breath.
- Rumi

When Christ left the realm of the seen for the realm of the unseen, he didn't leave behind any writings, nor any coherent community nor great many disciples. Infact the early followers of Christ were a very small strange band of Jewish people who received God-intoxication through their companionship (sohbet) with the great God-intoxicated Jewish Mystic Guide by the name Jesus of Nazareth.

This small group of original followers faced harsh persecution, many were martyred (became shaheed). Now only after one generation, Christ whose mission was "only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel." (Matthew 15:24) when his teachings overwhelmingly reached outside the Hebrew people, many projection and biased interpretation crept in into the teachings. In the process of institutionalizing a new religion which in the first place was never meant to be, many doctrines were invented which never have crossed Christ's own mind.

The uniqueness of Christ was his intense God-Consciousness (taqwa), his 'not being of the world' (zuhd), his love for the poor (fuqara), his fearless standing for truth against the unjust, a spotless heart and soul which enabled him to transmit holy healings to those in need and his high station as a guide of the soul - are some of the essential characteristics of Insan Kamil (the completed human being). In order for one to see with the heart of one's eyes how an evolved new human being who is dyed in the Beautiful Color of God (Sibghata-Llah) is, one needs to look at Christ. Not at the imaginary medieval portrait of a man in blond hair and blue eyes, not a Christ figure who was created borrowing elements from then-contemporary local religions - but at a Christ who was the perfect flowering of divine attributes within a human being.

One of the most important function which every new revelation does is that it clears all the false myths and false doctrines which abstruse the truth of reality. Every messenger during his mission provide ample hint for his successor to appear because that is the way. The chain of transmission continues. In a number of places of the Canonical Gospel (as well as the Hidden Gospels) the tradition records that Jesus is speaking of the golden thread of transmission of the teachings of truth to unfold even after his passing away.

Jesus says: And now I go away to Him who has sent Me... And sorrow has filled your hearts.  Nevertheless, I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go away, for if I do not go away the Helper will not come... I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth;
- John 16: 7, 12, 13

If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Paraclete. (14, 15-16)

But the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.  (14, 26).

And when Jesus, son of Mary said, "O Children of Israel! I am indeed a messenger of God to you, making clear that which remains of the Torah and brings good news of a messenger who shall come after me whose name is Ahmad." (The Quran 61:6)

The true successor of Christ in the chain of universal brotherhood of Messengers is to be recognized objectively, not subjectively. A tree is recognized by its fruit, so shall the authentic chain of transmission from Christ to the next is to be recognized.

When Muhammad was touched by divine revelation in the cave near Mecca, the land where Abraham the great common Patriarch of Judeo-Christian-Islamic tradition, one of the most important task for his was to restore the true image of Christ. To transmit the truth that Christ was a God-sent messenger, not God Himself. Christ was a human being, humble and hallowed by Godly qualities.

Prophet Mohammad said, “Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The Prophets are brothers of the same father with different mothers, and their religion is one. I am the closest in relationship to Jesus, the son of Mary, because there was no prophet between him and me. Jesus will descend. If you see him, then know him. He is a man of a moderately ruddy complexion. He will be wearing two faintly yellow garments. His hair will seem to have drops of water upon it, even though it will not be wet”.

In the classical biographies of Muhammad, who, entering the city of Mecca in triumph in 630AD, proceeded at once to the Kaaba to cleanse the holy shrine of its idols. As he walked around, ordering the removing of the pictures and idols of the 360 or so false deities, he came across a fresco on the wall depicting the Virgin and Child. He covered it reverently with his holy cloak and decreed that all other paintings be washed away except that one. Such was the deep reverence and awe that Prophet Muhammad had for his previous teacher of truth.

The Hadith or Prophetic Tradition of Muhammad depicts Jesus, son of Mary as a figure who will come at the end of days to help bring the world to its end. Jesus Christ significantly brackets the era of Historical Islam, standing right at its beginning and right at its end.

When the Counselor comes, sent to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. - John 15:26

The Prophet Muhammad in one of this inviting letter to the King of Abyssinia (current Ethiopia), an ancient center of Christianity wrote, "..I bear witness to this truth that, Jesus, son of Maryam is Spirit of Allah and His Word, breathed into pure and holy woman Maryam, upon them both be peace. Just as Allah created Adam by breathing His own spirit, Jesus was created in that likeness. I invite you to Allah Who is One and without partner..." In return Negus the King of Abyssinia wrote back (quoted partially here), "O Messenger of Allah! What you've written about Jesus, I swear by the Lord of the Heaven and Earth - that is what Christ was."

There is a famous saying of Prophet which confirm the Second Coming of Christ which mankind awaits: Prophet Muhammad said, (paraphrased here on the level of interpretation) "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely Jesus, Son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross (abolish organized Christianity) and make pure that which are impure in way of holy life and there will be no unjust tax. Socio-Economic equality will be such that there will be no inequality in the world, and such will be the state of human realization that a single prostration to God (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it." Then the Prophet recited the following verse of the Quran "And there is none of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as a Messenger of God and a human being) before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness."

Everything that Christ taught during his lifetime was refreshed by Prophet Muhammad through his teachings as well as what God revealed in the Quran about Jesus. But most importantly one of the teaching reminded by Prophet Muhammad, successor of Christ in brotherhood of messengership that Christ himself never claimed divinity or the right to be worshiped.

“Why do you call me good: No one is good but One, that is, God.” (Matthew 9:17, Mark 10-18, and Luke 18:19)

“My Father is greater than I.” (John 14:28)

“I do nothing of myself, but as the Father taught me, I speak these things.” (John 8:28)

“Most assuredly, I say to you, the son can do nothing of himself …” (John 5:19)

“But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent me.” (John 7:29)

“He who rejects me rejects Him who sent me.” (Luke 10:16)

“But now I go away to Him who sent me …” (John 16:5)

“Jesus answered them and said, ‘My truth teachings are not mine, but His who sent me.’” (John 7:16)

“For I have not spoken on my own authority; but the Father who sent me gave me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.” (John 12:49)

5.
Remembrance and Gnosis of Christ in the Last Testament

Jesus, or Isa, as he is known in Arabic, is referred to by name in as many as 25 different verses of the Quran and six times with the title of "Messiah" (Christ). He is also referred to as the "Messenger" and the "Prophet" but, perhaps above all else, as the "Word" and the "Spirit" of God. No other prophet in the Quran, not even Muhammad, is given this particular honor. In fact, among the 124,000 Messengers and Prophets said to be recognized by Islam - a figure that includes all of the Jewish prophets of the Old Testament - Jesus is considered second only to Muhammad, and is believed to be the precursor to the Prophet of Islam.

In the Quran, there is without a doubt no woman that is given more attention than Mary. She is mentioned 34 times in the Quran and there is an entire chapter dedicated to her and her history, Chapter 19 entitled Maryam by her Aramaic name. No other woman is mentioned in the Last Testament by name. As a matter of fact, Maryam is mentioned more times in the Quran than in the entire New Testament, and there is more information about her life contained in the Quran than in the New Testament. John (Yahya) 7 times and Imran (Amran), father of Mary and grand father of Jesus is mentioned 3 times.

Below are the verses of the Last Testament about truth of Christ and his exalted station. May God sanctify his soul and bless his true gnostics.

* Virgin Birth of Jesus through his mother Mary whom Allah chose and purified
Quran 3:42-43, 45-60 Surah Ale-'Imran (The Family of 'Imran)

And (remember) when the angels said, "O Maryam! Truly Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above all the women in the world." "O Maryam! Be obedient to your Lord and worship with those who worship."

When the angels said, ‘Maryam (Mary), Allah gives you good news of a Word from Him. His name is the Messiah, ‘Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam, of high esteem in this world and the Next World, and one of those brought near.

He will speak to people in the cradle, and also when fully grown, and will be one of the righteous,’ she said, ‘My Lord! How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me?’ He said, ‘It will be so.’ Allah creates whatever He wills. When He decides on something, He just says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is. He will teach him the Book and Wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel, as a Messenger to the tribe of Israel, saying: ‘I have brought you a Sign from your Lord. I will create the shape of a bird out of clay for you and then breathe into it and it will be a bird by Allah’s permission. I will heal the blind and lepers, and bring the dead to life, by Allah’s permission. I will tell you what you eat and what you store up in your homes. There is a Sign for you in that if you are truly faithful.

I come confirming the Torah I find already there, and to make lawful for you some of what was previously forbidden to you. I have brought you a Sign from your Lord. So have taqwa (God-Consciousness) and obey me. Allah is my Lord and your Lord so worship Him. That is a straight path.’

When ‘Isa sensed disbelief on their part, he said, ‘Who will be my helpers to Allah?’ The disciples said, ‘We are Allah's helpers. We believe in Allah. Bear witness that we are submitters to Divine. Our Lord, we have faith in what You have sent down and have followed the Messenger, so write us down among the witnesses.’ They plotted and Allah plotted. But Allah is the best of plotters.

When Allah said, ‘‘Isa, I will take you back and raise you up to Me and purify you of those who cover up the truth. And I will place the people who follow you above those who cover up until the Day of Rising. Then you will all return to Me, and I will judge between you regarding the things about which you differed.

As for those who are cover up the truth, I will punish them with a harsh punishment in this world and the Next World. They will have no helpers.’ As for those who have have and do right actions, We will pay them their wages in full. Allah does not love wrongdoers.

That is what We recite to you of the Signs and the wise Reminder. The likeness of ‘Isa (Jesus) in Allah’s sight is the same as Adam. He created him from earth and then He said to him, ‘Be!’ and he was.

It is the truth from your Lord so do not be among the doubters.

Praise of Mary
Quran 66:11-12 Surah At-Tahrim (Banning)

And Mary the daughter of 'Imran who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into her (body) of Our spirit (Ruh); and she testified to the truth of the Words of her Lord and of His Revelations and she was one of the devout ones.

* Jesus was strengthened with Holy Spirit
Quran 2:87 Surah Al-Baqarah (Heifer)

We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit.

* They follow only conjecture, they neither killed him, nor successfully crucified him, but Allah raised Jesus to Himself
Quran 4:155-159   Surah An-Nisaa (The Women)

(They have incurred divine displeasure): in that they broke their Covenant: that they rejected the Signs of Allah; that they slew the Messengers in defiance of right; that they said "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word; we need no more)"; nay Allah hath set the seal on their hearts for their blasphemy and little is it they believe. That they rejected faith: that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge.

That they said (in boast) "We killed Christ (Maseeh) Jesus the son of Mary the Apostle of Allah"; but they killed him not nor crucified him but so it was made to appear to them and those who differ therein are full of doubts with no (certain) knowledge but only conjecture to follow for of a surety they killed him not. Nay Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power Wise. And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness against them.

* Exemplifier
Quran 4:59  Surah az-Zukhruf  (Ornaments of Gold)

Jesus is but a worshipful slave whom We blessed and made an example for the Children of Israel.

* In the footstep of other messengers came Jesus
Quran 5:46 Surah al-Maaidah  (The Table Spread)

And in their (previous message bearers of God) footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.

* A Conversation between God and Jesus in the Post-Eternity
Quran 5:116-119  Surah Al-Maaeda (The Table Spread)

And (remember) when Allah said, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to your people, "Take me and my mother as gods beside One God"? Jesus said, "Glorified are You! It would be not have been possible for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing surely You would have known it. you know everything that is in myself, but truly I do not know what is withing Yourself. Surely You are the Knower of the Unseen."

I said to them only what you commanded me: 'Worship God, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them when I lived among them but when You took me You alone were the Watcher over them. And You are the Witness over all things. If You punish them - so, truly they are Your servants; and if You forgive them - so, truly, You alone are the All Mighty, the Wise."

Allah will say (on the Day of Judgment), "This is a Day on which the truthful shall profit from their truthfulness; theirs are gardens beneath which rivers flow - they shall live in them forever." And well pleased is Allah with them and well-pleased are they with Him. That is the supreme triumph.

* Say Not "Trinity": Desist: it Will Be Better for You: for God Is One
Quran 4:171-173  Surah An-Nisaa (The Women)

O people of the Book! Do not exaggerate in your religion (din): nor say of God aught but truth. Christ (Maseeh) Jesus the son of Mary was a Messenger of Allah and His Word which He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His Messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for God is One: glory be to Him: (for Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

Christ (Maseeh) disdaineth not to serve and worship Allah nor do the angels those nearest (to Allah): those who disdain His worship and are arrogant He will gather them all together unto himself to (answer).

But to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness He will give their (due) rewards and more out of His bounty: but those who are disdainful and arrogant He will punish with a grievous penalty; nor will they find besides Allah any to protect or help them.

* Turning Jesus into God is covering up of truth
Quran 5:17, 72-75  Surah Al-Maaeda (The Table Spread)

They who say Christ is God, have indeed covered up (the truth). Say: Who then could control anything as against God if He wished to destroy the Messiah son of Maryam and his mother and all those on the earth? And God's is the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them; He creates what He pleases; and God has power over all things.

They surely cover up (the truth) who say that God is the Messiah. The Messiah himself said, "O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Truly whoever ascribes partner to God - God shall forbid him the Blissful Abode of Hereafter and his abode is the Fire.

They surely cover up (the truth) who say that God is the third of Trinity - when in reality there is no deity save One God. And if they do not stop saying this, then truly a painful punishment shall befall those who cover (the truth) from among them. Will they not return (in repentance) to God and seek His forgiveness? And God is Ever-Forgiving - Singularly Compassionate. The Messiah, son of Mary was a Messenger, many messengers who passed away before him. And his mother was wholly truthful (saddiqah). And they both ate food (as human). See how We make clear for them the Signs and then see how they are deluded.

 * The Plain Truth
Quran 61:6: Surat as-Saff (The Ranks)

And when Jesus, son of Mary said, "O Children of Israel! I am indeed a Messenger of God to you, making clear what remains of the Torah and bringing good news of a messenger who shall come after me whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to hem with Clear Proof they said to him, "It is nothing but clear magic."

And who is more unjust oppressor than the one who invents a lie about God when he is being called to the Divine Surrender (al-Islam)? And God does not guide a people who are unjust oppressors.

They desire to extinguish the Light of God with their mouths, but God will perfect His Light however much the deniers (of truth) are adverse. He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the Guidance and the Religion (din) of Truth, that He may uplift it above all the religions however much the polytheists are adverse.

O you faithfully believe, shall I point to you a deal that will save you from painful suffering?

You shall believe in One God and His Messenger and struggle in the Way of God by your wealth and your souls. This is better for you if you but knew - He will forgive you your sins and bring you to gardens through which flow rivers, and into fragrant resting places in the Garden of Eden. That is the sublime triumph - and the other things you love - help from God and an Opening which is near.

Transmit good news to the faithful believers.

O you who securely believe! Be helpers in the Cause of God - even as Jesus, son of Mary, said to his apostles, "Who will be my helpers (ansars)? They said, "We shall be helpers in the Cause of God." And a party from the Children of Israel believed securely, while a party covered up (the truth). Then We strengthened those who securely believed against their enemy and they became the one who prevailed.

* Not to cross the limits set by God
Quran 5:77-78  Surah Al-Maaeda (The Table Spread)

Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed the limits of  your religion (by believing in something) other than the Truth, and do not follow the vain desires of a people who went astray before and have led many (others) astray, and still stray from the sound path.

Those of the Children of Israel who went astray were cursed by the tongues of David and Jesus, son of Mary. That is because they rebelled (against God) and transgressed beyond the bounds (set by God).

6.
My hope if my age is prolonged to meet Jesus, son of Mary, but if death hurries me along, then let the one who meets him give my kind regards. - Prophet Muhammad, upon him and upon Christ and all the illuminated beings be salutation of peace

7.
The Soul Must Suffer Secrets That Can not be Said

Jesus Christ is a wonder. Whom God calls as Spirit from Him, as Word from Him, a Sign for the World and New Adam, can he be anything but wonder! Some secrets are never meant to be unveiled by words and logic only. Human intelligence have its boundaries. Even if you try too hard, some wonders will remain ever wondrous unless Allah the Immense grant your heart the understanding of inner meanings concealed within. Thus Christ's true status remains a Secret known in full only to the Knower of the Secret of Soul. Even though the Final Testament, the Quran recaptures and restate some of the essential truth about Christ's position among children of men, yet he remains an enigma.

In Gospel of Philip we find this enigma echoed, "Jesus took them all by stealth, for he did not reveal himself in the manner in which he was, but it was in the manner in which they would be able to see him that he revealed himself. He revealed himself to them all. He revealed himself as great to the great, as small to the small.

Because of this his word hid itself from everyone. On the mount he became great, but he made the disciples great, that they might be able to see his greatness."

Isn't that a wonderful fitting description of a Master of the Mystic Path whose face always remain veiled because he is from the Light and the world can not look at the Real Light with naked eyes.  There is a beautiful prayer in the ancient text of Isha Upanishad, "O my Lord, Sustainer of all that lives, Your real face is covered by Your dazzling effulgence. Kindly remove that covering and exhibit Yourself to Your pure devotee".

May we pray so that our heart is given the capacity to recognize the true station and status of Christ, the  true lover and accepted beloved of God and may we benefit from his qualities and attain intimacy to that which he received from His Eternal Father, His Lord and Lord of the Universe. And Allah know the Best.

And from God the Most High arrives the Truth!
Amen (sealed in faith, trust and truth)
